Nationally known speaker/teacher Josh Hunt is coming to our area to lead a special conference February 11th at 6:30 p.m. at FBC Lyons. Change Your Church or Die is a great conference that every pastor, staff member, and church volunteer will benefit from attending. This conference will address real problems many churches are facing and will give each participant some very practical and useful ideas on how to take a church from where it is today to where God would have it be.
Please remember our monthly DBA Prayer Rally which will take place Monday, February 1 at Cross Timbers Baptist (Vidalia) at 6:30 p.m. to specifically pray for our community. Please invite anyone  you know (no matter the Christian denomination they belong to) who has a heart for eradicating spiritual darkness in our communities to join you and others as we seek God in prayer.

Quote of the Week
(in response to the notion a church will lose people if they change in order to reach their community) “If the church doesn’t change, it will still lose people. It will lose the people whose hearts beat for the church to be the hope of the world. It will lose the people who desire, more than their own comfort, God’s pleasure. It will lose the people who are not living for themselves but for others. In other words, they will lose the people who look like Jesus. These are not the people a church can afford losing.†–Brad Powell
