Exec­u­tive Admin­is­tra­tor Minister

The Daniell Bap­tist Asso­ci­a­tion exists to bring glo­ry to God through facil­i­tat­ing part­ner­ships between church­es to accom­plish The Great Com­mis­sion. The Exec­u­tive Admin­is­tra­tor Min­is­ter is the sole sup­port for the DBA’s mis­sion and reports direct­ly to the Asso­ci­a­tion­al Mis­sions Strate­gist. The ide­al can­di­date will be mis­sion­al mind­ed, ready to serve and learn new ways to help the 51 church­es of the DBA effec­tive­ly pur­sue the Great Com­mis­sion. He/She must have a high lev­el of ini­tia­tive, pri­or­i­ti­za­tion, and flex­i­bil­i­ty. The hired per­son will be involved with every aspect of the min­istries of the DBA and must there­fore be high­ly orga­nized with great atten­tion to detail. 

Job Duties:

  • Gen­er­al sec­re­tar­i­al duties (check mail/email, answer phone, order sup­plies, set appoint­ments & meetings)
  • Man­age Asso­ci­a­tion­al Mis­sion­ary Strategist’s calendar 
  • Act as a liai­son between the DBA, Min­istry Teams, 51 church­es of the Asso­ci­a­tion, part­ners, and com­mu­ni­ty to plan, pro­mote, and exe­cute min­istry oppor­tu­ni­ties, which includes, but is not lim­it­ed to:
    • Work­ing with Asso­ci­a­tion­al Mis­sion Strate­gist in plan­ning DBA events, such as
      • Pas­tors round tables
      • Annu­al meet­ing of churches
      • Train­ing, out­reach, and evan­ge­lis­tic events 
    • Work­ing with team mem­bers to plan 
      • Mis­sion trips, both domes­tic & international
      • Sum­mer camps for youth and children
      • Train­ing, out­reach, and evan­ge­lis­tic events 
  • Cre­ate month­ly newsletter
  • Com­mu­ni­cate effec­tive­ly & cre­ative­ly via phone, email, texts, social media, and in person
  • Attend var­i­ous meet­ings and record meet­ing minutes
  • Pre­ferred: All aspects of non-prof­it finan­cial account­ing accord­ing to the DBA’s finan­cial con­trols, tax law, and GAAP using Quick­Books and Google Sheets (record dona­tions, accounts receivable/payable, pay­roll, rec­on­cile accounts, run and be able to explain reports, main­tain bud­gets) and report to Trea­sur­er and AMS

Required:

  • Mis­sion­al mind­ed, ready to serve and learn 
  • High lev­el of ini­tia­tive, pri­or­i­ti­za­tion, & flexibility 
  • Great orga­ni­za­tion­al skills with atten­tion to detail
  • Sea­soned com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, ver­bal, writ­ten, digital
  • Famil­iar & com­fort­able with MS Pub­lish­er, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Cal­en­dar, Gmail) social media platforms
  • Hos­pi­tal­i­ty 
  • Office man­age­ment

Pre­ferred

  • Non-prof­it experience
  • 2 or more years expe­ri­ence with full ser­vice QuickBooks
  • Domes­tic & Inter­na­tion­al trav­el logis­tics experience
  • All aspects of event plan­ning & execution
  • Graph­ic design expe­ri­ence (Corel­Draw)
  • Web­site design & maintenance
