Tools will be provided.
You may wish to bring your favorite pair of work gloves.

Lunch is pro­vid­ed at the worksite.
Bring funds for din­ner on the way back.

What is Gold­en Isles Vet­er­ans Village?
The vil­lage is a tran­si­tion­al com­mu­ni­ty com­prised of 30 sin­gle occu­pant tiny homes and a com­mu­ni­ty cen­ter where res­i­dents can enjoy cama­raderie with fel­low vet­er­ans. In the vil­lage com­mu­ni­ty cen­ter vet­er­ans will receive coun­sel­ing, phys­i­cal and men­tal health sup­port, and job train­ing. Vet­er­ans who choose to live in this com­mu­ni­ty will also ben­e­fit from skill iden­ti­fi­ca­tion cou­pled with job train­ing, so that they can become tru­ly self suf­fi­cient and con­fi­dent when they rein­te­grate into society.
