DESCRIPTION:\nLET’S BUILD TINY HOUSES FOR VETERANS\nThe Daniell Bap­tist Asso­ci­a­tion & Taber­na­cle Bap­tist Church\nINVITE YOU TO\nJOIN THE MISSION TEAM\nWHEN: Jan­u­ary 22, 2022\nThe DBA will pro­vide transportation.\nMeet at the DBA office at 5:45 am.\nThe van will be leav­ing at 6:00 am.\nWe hope to return between 7:00 pm — 9:00 pm\nWHAT: Con­struc­tion of Tiny Hous­es for Vet­er­ans in Townsend, GA\nWe will be work­ing from 8:00 am — 5:00 pm\nTools will be provided.\nYou may wish to bring your favorite pair of work gloves.\nCOST: Free.\nMEALS: Break­fast at South New­port Bap­tist Church\nLunch is pro­vid­ed at the worksite.\nBring funds for din­ner on the way back.\nPlease let the DBA know by Jan­u­ary 17th if you plan to participate.\nWhat is Gold­en Isles Vet­er­ans Village?\nThe vil­lage is a tran­si­tion­al com­mu­ni­ty com­prised of 30 sin­gle occu­pant tiny homes and a com­mu­ni­ty cen­ter where res­i­dents can enjoy cama­raderie with fel­low vet­er­ans. In the vil­lage com­mu­ni­ty cen­ter vet­er­ans will receive coun­sel­ing, phys­i­cal and men­tal health sup­port, and job train­ing.
